TickTockPill1. Who we are
This policy applies to the TickTockPill website (ticktockpill.com) and the TickTockPill mobile app as separate areas of the same document. TickTockPill is provided by SAMGHN, Honduras. If a specific legal identification is required by applicable law before this document becomes effective, the identity in this document will be updated accordingly. SAMGHN is the umbrella and producer brand; the product domain is ticktockpill.com and the corporate domain is samghn.com.
2. Scope and product role
TickTockPill is a personal reminder and organization tool. It helps you organize reminder times and keep a record of the actions you choose to take. It does not diagnose, prescribe, recommend treatments or replace professional advice, and it is not an emergency service.
This policy describes (A) the website and (B) the mobile app separately, because the data each handles is different.
3. Website (A) — what we process on ticktockpill.com
A1. Contact and support emails
If you write to support@ticktockpill.com or contact@samghn.com, we process the information you voluntarily include (such as your email address and the content of your message) only to respond to your request. The legal basis is that the processing is necessary to handle your request.
A2. Technical processing to serve the website
To serve web pages, standard technical metadata necessary to deliver a request may be processed — this can include the IP address and request metadata — as processed and configured by our infrastructure, hosting and security provider Cloudflare. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website.
A3. Language preference stored locally
The website remembers your language choice on your own device using local browser storage (a ticktockpill.locale local storage entry). No cookie is used and this preference is not transmitted to us. You can clear it by clearing your browser storage.
A4. What the website does not process
The website has no accounts, no input forms for personal data, no database, and receives no medication data. It is a static information site and does not receive any data you enter inside the mobile app.
4. Mobile app (B) — on-device data in the audited Android release
The audited Android release stores the following categories on your device using on-device app storage:
- Medications and dose details
- Schedules and reminder configuration
- History of recorded actions
- Inventory
- Vitals
- Profile and preferences (including language)
- Photos you associate with a medication
The audited release does not use network connections for its core reminder data and does not transmit user-entered reminder data to a SAMGHN backend. There is no cloud sync. The audited release includes no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs, no fingerprinting, and SAMGHN does not sell or rent personal data. This policy nevertheless describes the ways your information is visible on your own device, because some content can appear through system surfaces:
B1. Notifications
Reminder notifications may display the medication name and dose in the notification shade and on the lock screen, depending on your device and operating-system settings. You can control notification privacy, including lock-screen visibility, in your device and app settings.
B2. Voice reminders (text-to-speech)
If you enable voice reminders, the device may speak the medication name and dose aloud using your device text-to-speech. That audio stays on your device and may be audible to people nearby.
B3. Home-screen widget
The optional home-screen widget may display the medication name and the next scheduled dose time on your launcher. You can remove or resize the widget at any time.
B4. Medication photos
The camera and photo library are used only when you decide to associate a photo with a medication. No photo is taken or selected automatically.
B5. Android system backup
Android Auto Backup and device-to-device transfer can back up certain shared preferences. Under the audited Android configuration, the reminder database, medication photos and app cache are excluded from that backup. Behavior on older Android versions or with optional system services may vary.
5. Permissions
The Android app requests only functional permissions, each used for the purpose described and none used to collect data for SAMGHN:
- Notifications: to show your scheduled reminder notifications and their actions (taken/skip).
- Exact alarms: to trigger reminders at the exact times you schedule.
- Vibration: to vibrate the device for reminders.
- Camera / photo library: only to add a photo to a medication when you choose to.
- Boot completed / alarm restoration: to restore scheduled reminders after the device restarts.
- Audio / text-to-speech: to read a voice reminder aloud if you enable that option.
6. Retention
Support and contact enquiries are kept for up to 12 months after the request is resolved, or longer where still needed for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations or the defence of claims. Language preference stored locally on your device remains until you clear it. App data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app.
7. Analytics and advertising
The website does not use Google Analytics, advertising analytics, ad tracking or fingerprinting, and we do not use behavioral analytics at launch. The app includes no analytics SDKs and no advertising SDKs. If analytics are enabled in the future (for example via a hosting provider), this policy will be updated before or together with that change.
8. No sale or rental of personal data
TickTockPill and SAMGHN do not sell or rent personal data and do not serve behavioral advertising. The app performs no cloud sync and no behavioral advertising. The website uses Cloudflare as the hosting, CDN and security infrastructure provider; fonts and images are served from our own site. We do not claim that no third party is involved, because Cloudflare remains an infrastructure provider.
9. Your rights
Where applicable, you may have the right to request access to, correction, restriction or deletion of personal data we hold about you, to object to processing, and to receive your data in a portable form. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact contact@samghn.com with the subject line “Privacy Request”. We aim to respond to privacy requests within 30 days where reasonably possible, and within any shorter period required by applicable law. Your rights may vary depending on the laws applicable where you live.
10. Children
TickTockPill is not specifically directed to young children. Users who are minors should use TickTockPill with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law.
11. Laws that may apply to you
The processing operations described on the website and in the app are subject to the laws of Honduras. If the laws where you live grant you additional rights, nothing in this policy prevents those rights from applying where their requirements are met.
12. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risks presented by the data described here. Final specifics of infrastructure configuration will be confirmed against the published build before this policy is activated.
13. Changes and effective date
This draft is not yet effective. It becomes effective on the date the operator formally assigns for activation, which will be the launch date or a later authorized date. If we update this policy, the updated version will be published at the same address.
